Nathan's Pie and Mash
Does anyone know if the owners opened up somewhere else? They said just before they closed that they were looking for other premises so wondered if they had.

Nathan's was awful, it only stayed in business because of it's location. It wouldn't last anywhere else.

Re: Nathan's Pie and Mash
Agree with Council Scum it was more like a soup kitchen than a pie mash shop.

Manzes tower bridge road was always good. Still staffed by women in tabards, a sign of quality

I’ve always found that one decent, tonka.

Clarke’s in Exmouth market was probably my fave, sadly long gone.

If you are out Brentwood way, Paul Konchesky has a Pie and Mash cafe in Moore's Place. Konch's Kafe run by his mum and sister I believe.

Re: Nathan's Pie and Mash
simon, I worked near Exmouth market opposite the old post office building, didn't go for the pie and mash though, we used to go in the pub that had strippers

Re: Nathan's Pie and Mash
My favourite Pie and Mash shop in London will always be Kellys down Roman Road market. I've been going since I was a kid.

Now I'm in the north, we order from Manzies. Really good pies.

Re: Nathan's Pie and Mash
Robins the original and best in East Ham high street. Long gone though but still some other shops elsewhere.

Maureens in Poplar does nationwide delivery I think. Something random like that.
